The Reflexologist will apply pressure using their fingers, thumbs or knuckles to specific reflex points, clearing blockages and stimulating a positive energy flow.
Reflexology can reduce the feeling of stress, calm and soothe, reducing tension and fatigue, relaxing body and mind. In addition, reflexology can improve the immune system and help can help the body’s ability to heal itself. Furthermore, reflexology promotes homeostasis, balancing the systems of the body. Reflexology encourages good circulation. and a state of deep relaxation. This in turn allows the release of toxins within our internal organs. Reflexology aids the efficiency of the digestive tract, helping the body to absorb more nutrients and expel waste. One of the many benefits of reflexology is that it stimulates nerve energy. They’re thousands nerve endings in our feet which can encourage the flow of nerve impulses.
